Mojacar

Mojacar is located on the coast in the Spanish region of Almeria on the Costa Calida. Sandwiched between the mountains of the Sierra Cabera and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean it is the largest and most popular tourist centre of this southeastern corner of Spain.

For visitors the old town is a delightful labyrinth of winding, cobbled streets with magnificent views to the mountains, sea and desert hinterland but, just two kilometres away down at the coast you’re in another world of modern day tourism with bustling beaches flanked by international bars and restaurants.

Mojacar beach is 17 kilometres long, a large part of which is designated an area of natural beauty. Only 7 kilometres is developed and is so unspoiled that within this stretch there are 3 Blue European Flag awards for cleanliness.
